With the new features, veterans via the Department of Veteran Affairs can register their provider in the app, and be able to see their whole health record, from immunizations, medication, lab results and more.

Apple notes the information is updated automatically, giving veterans an updated look at their overall health.

Currently, already more than 400 health providers are working with Apple to support Health Records on the iPhone in the United States, the VA with a base of 9 million American veterans only opens the door for even more.
