{UPDATE} Jon Prosser has noted on Twitter that this case alongside the “iPhone SE” name has been on Apple’s website since March 11th, we all missed it. We initially expected it to be called the iPhone 9, leading us to miss out on a leak that happened nearly a month ago.

The new upcoming iPhone may not be called the iPhone 9 after all.

Thanks to ZolloTech, the Belkin InvisiGlass Ultra screen protector listing on the Apple website now has been updated to mention an iPhone “SE”.

Also thanks to Jon Prosser, there is now a new AppleCare+ listing for the new iPhone SE on the Apple website. We can confirm this pertains to the upcoming iPhone as the original iPhone SE hasn’t had AppleCare+ available for years.

This comes after a day of uncertainty regarding this new iPhone as to the actual release date of the iPhone. Many sources argue that the release will be tomorrow April 3rd such as tech YouTube MKBHD while other sources such as Jon Prosser say the release will happen on April 15th.

There has also been months of uncertainty as to the naming of this iPhone, would it be called the iPhone 9? The iPhone SE 2? Or even something different? Lots of discussions have been made in the prior months discussing what this iPhone will be called.

Not only does this confirm the naming of the iPhone but could this also confirm a release is very near?

Time will only tell.
