After adding support for Siri on it’s iOS app in October of last year, something was missing, support on the Apple Watch.

Spotted by the eagle-eyed folks over at 9to5Mac, in its latest update Spotify finally adds support for Siri on the Apple Watch. Users can now now ask Siri to play a certain song, playlist, including playback commands.

Apple faced early criticism before Spotify got Siri support on iOS. Apart of the new set of iOS 13 SDK’s included support for 3rd party audio apps to use Siri, something that Apple was strongly against prior. Developers claimed it gave Apple Music an unfair advantage since some users would prefer using Siri to control playback and more.
