Apple leaker Jon Prosser has given us brand new information about what Apple has planned for its own headphones and AirPods lineup. Two years ago Ming-Chi Kuo reported that Apple was working on over-the-ear headphones with similar features to the AirPods.
Jon reports that it has the codename B515 or Think Bose 700, it will cost $350 and is aimed to be released at WWDC 2020 in June. 9to5mac discovered an icon in iOS 14 code that resembles the product Jon is referring to, but the final details on the design remain unknown.
Jon also reported what he says is what DigiTimes reported as the AirPods Pro Lite, but instead will be called the AirPods X, code-named B517, aimed mainly at athletes, expected to be around $200 and hopes are for a September-October launch.
DigiiTimes reported first on an “entry-level” AirPods in Feburary, it remains unclear if they will back track on their report.
