As countries grapple to keep the spread of COVID-19 under wraps, Germany is investing in modern-day technology to defeat the virus. Reuters reported today that the German government is launching an app created by the Robert Koch Institute to help monitor COVID-1O symptoms.

Once you download the app you’ll be asked for your address, age, and weight, it will track your generic health data like steps, sleep, heart rate and others. The creator of the app says it wants to build an online map of Germany so that people can monitor where the infections are in real-time with the hopes of reaching 100,000 with the app.
