New Facebook Apple Watch app coming soon; internal testing

TechCrunch reports that Facebook has an experimental brand new Apple Watch app called Kit, or Keep in Touch. It works using a QR code linked to your Facebook Messenger app on your iPhone.

Per the description of the app via TechCrunch, “you get started with the app by first scanning a QR code on your watch or by entering in an access code at fb.com/devices. You then select the Messenger contact you want to stay in touch with using Kit.”

It has all the features you’d expect, from voice messages, emojis, sharing location, drawing, alongside receiving and responding to notifications.

The Messenger app already has a Watch app, Kit is meant for people closer to you in your lie such as family, husband/wife, best friend, etc.. You can download Kit here.
