Today, Rogers, the Ontario government, and Apple have all partnered up to ensure that students are still receiving high quality education, despite learning from home. In a press statement, the Ontario government says:
Apple is providing videos, apps and books to help teachers build engaging lessons for students at home, along with fun and creative activities that kids and families can do with the built-in features of iPad. Apple is also offering teachers free one-to-one virtual coaching by Apple Professional Learning Specialists.
The government also says that more than 21,000 iPads have been sent to households who are unable to purchase one themselves and that Rogers has pre-equipped the iPads with LTE.
