South Korea’s three largest telecom companies, SK Telecom, KT, and LG Uplus have announced that they have opened pre-orders for the iPhone SE and will release it on May 6th according to Korea IT Times.
The iPhone SE launched last week for the United States and Canada, with pre-orders opening a week prior. The iPhone SE is a follow-up to the original 2016 iPhone SE and replaced the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus.
At $399, it comes with an A13 chip, the same chip in the iPhone 11 lineup, and a camera sensor similar to the one on the iPhone XR. Despite hopes, it does have Touch ID, wireless charging, and is water-resistant.
