The Cinema owned and ran by Russia’s TriColor station has officially launched its Apple TV app to users. The new app gives users access to more than 125 online films, including sports, news, and more, with 53 in HD and over 1,000 localized films.

In a blog post on its website via Google Translate, they explain the decision to add the app was due to everyone being home, and it wanting to expand its customer base:

In conditions of self-isolation due to the coronavirus pandemic, when television and online services became the main sources of entertainment for Russians, Tricolor expands the availability of its popular application “Tricolor Cinema and TV”. The owners of the Apple TV set-top box were able to watch more than 150 television channels and access to an online movie theater with pictures from leading Russian and foreign film companies.

The app was launched on Android TVs 2 years ago, soon followed by a launch on iOS and Android, now making its way to the biggest screen in your Apple home.
