Apple is expected to release an update to its 13-inch MacBook Pro this month according to Jon Prosser. This is everything we know about the upcoming device:
New Screen Size:
Earlier reports suggested the 13-inch may turn into a new 14-inch mode. If so, it would be similar to the revamp for the 16-inch MacBook Pro, up from 15-inches. However, in a follow-up tweet to a user, Jon Prosser states that it will not be 14-inches.
Ramped Up Specs:
Earlier in April a leaker on Twitter which goes by @_rogame, reported that the new MacBook Pro will be configurable with up to 32GB of RAM, and 2TB of SSD storage. Just this week, the same account updated the report saying it will now have a high-end version for 4TB of SSD storage.
They also reported it will feature an i7 processor, 2.3GHz, with 4.1GHz boost. Read our full report of this leak here.
Time for a New Keyboard:
Apple is almost certain to bring the new scissor keyboard to the 13-inch MacBook Pro, similar to what it did for the 16-inch.
While a significant release, it’s not likely to bring any new feature that isn’t available on the 16-inch MacBook Pro, with the possible exception of some under the hood performance.
