To celebrate her 50th birthday, model and access Naomi Campbell will take over the cover of the magazine ESSENCE which also celebrates its 50th anniversary. Due to social distancing and lockdown restrictions, Naomi is unable to go to a proper studio and get a photo taken her self.

But, thankfully there’s a single device in the pockets of billions; an iPhone. Naomi announced today via an Instagram for the magazine that she took the photo using her iPhone in her home. She also shed light on what ESSENCE means to her and its showcase of strong and independent black women.

This is not the first appearance of the iPhone making its way into more mainstream life. TV anchors, hosts, even late-night talk show hosts are using iPhones to continue production.
