Apple Store app finally updated with dark mode

Finally, just as iOS 14 is about to arrive, Apple finally updated the Apple Store app with dark mode support in the latest version. The update follows a major redesign of the app 5 months ago, which to everyone’s surprise didn’t include dark mode support. Below is the short release notes for the update:

  • Browse, buy, and explore in Dark Mode, a dramatic new look that seamlessly integrates into the app
  • Various bug fixes and enhancements

The Apple Store app is designed to purchase Apple products and look at Today at Apple seasons. On one part, the app is becoming more used as people opt for online shopping. As for Today at Apple sessions, given store closures, it hasn’t been that helpful. Either way and for whatever reason you use the app, the update is most welcomed.
