Apple VP of Public Policy and Government Affairs abruptly leaves

In a statement to Axios, Apple announced that the VP of Public Policy and Government Affairs Cynthia Hogan will leave her role at the company officially in June.

This comes as not long ago, Cynthia joined presidential candidate Joe Biden’s campaign to help him find VP candidates. She used to work with Biden as an aide in the Senate in 1993. She joined Apple in 2016 initially to lead the companies office in Washington, DC, where she helped in lobbying efforts.

Apple has yet to announce a replacement.
