Today Facebook released an update to its iPadOS update that brings newer iPadOS features. The app now works with Split Screen, allowing users to have Facebook open alongside another app that also supports it.
It also got Slide Over support allowing it to be pulled in from the side of the screen, overlaying another app. While these features are welcomed, users are still waiting for Facebook to finally implement dark mode in the app.
Leaks earlier this year showed screenshots of Facebook dark mode in beta, however, since then, we’ve been left in the dark. On a good note, Facebook updating its app to support iOS 13 and iPadOS 13 features is a sign that the company definitely has dark mode somewhere in their project map.
