Recently, more information has come to light regarding the 0day exploit that iOS hacker Pwn20Wnd & team used in the most recent unc0ver jailbreak supporting ALL devices on iOS 11 through the most recent (as of the time of writing) iOS 13.5 firmware.

Thanks to hacker Siquza, we now know that this bug has actually been around for quite a while. This exploit was first patched in iOS 12.0 developer beta 1 but was eventually accidentally reintroduced in iOS 13.0 developer beta 1.

This isn’t the first time Apple has done this.

Back in iOS 12.3, Apple patched an exploit that affected iOS 12.0-12.2 but then accidentally was completely reintroduced in iOS 12.4.

This at the time lead to the first jailbreak on the most recent firmware in many years.

Also thanks to Siguza, we also know that at some point this exploit will become open sourced.

Because of this, Coolstar has announced that Chimera13 on iOS 13.5 is now a possibility.

As far as we know Chimera13 WILL support all A12/A13 devices & below.

If this were to happen, we would now once again have the option of what jailbreak we want to use as we did on iOS 12.

Exciting times are imminent here in the jailbreak community.

Years later he got interested in jailbreaking, starting at iOS 9 in 2016. Recently, he has been very interested in development for iOS & iPadOS as he is currently learning Swift and Objective-C.
