Apple CEO Tim Cook announced today a brand new initiative, the “Apple’s Racial Equity and Justice Intiviate” with an initial commitment of $100 million.

The new program comes as protests and calls for action against racial injustices in the United States continue to grow. All of this, following the brutal murder of George Floyd. In response to it, Apple CEO Tim Cook emphasized in a public letter Apple’s values and commitment to ending those injustices.
