Devices on iOS 12.4.2-12.4.7 have finally received a jailbreak other than checkra1n.
RootlessJB4 by Brandon Plank has officially received iOS 12.4.2-12.4.7 support.
Rootless jailbreaks are a bit different than your normal jailbreaks such as unc0ver or checkra1n and also comes with its own pros and cons respectively.
With a rootless jailbreak, you do NOT have full system root access (to “/”) but, you do have access to “/var”.
Due to this, it’s also worth mentioning the fact that not all tweaks work on rootlessJB4 as it does NOT have full file system access.
But it also simply doesn’t alter near as many files as your normal jailbreak which can make bypassing jailbreak detection much easier.
This jailbreak also does NOT come with Cydia installed & isn’t an option but it does come with the option of installing the Saily package manager, which is essentially a Cydia alternative.
Tweaks are also installable via Filza and their respectable .deb files.
So, iOS 12.4.2-12.4.7 users, your wait is finally over!
