Apple is expected to launch a slew of new products in 2020 and 2021. The most recent expectation was for a brand new iMac at WWDC, which did not come true. Alongside the iPhone 12 in the fall Apple is gearing up to release new over-the-ear headphones dubbed “AirPods Studio,” the long-rumored AirTags, and a new HomePod.
Apple’s timeframe seems to be in the midsts given the COVID19 pandemic with the typical September iPhone launch possibly being dismissed due to production delays. Nonetheless, the company still released a new iPhone and iPad during the pandemic in March, proving it could navigate around the situation.
Now, two leaks, one more credible suggest that Apple is gearing up for a product launch soon. The first suggestion comes from @l0vetodream who shared on Sunday that “some products are ready to ship,” it follows what Jon Prosser said in May that new a new iMac and AirPods could “drop at anytime.”
The 2nd hint comes from a lesser-known account but seems to be credible, for now. @Jioriku says that a new iMac will drop “very, very soon.” What “very very” means is subjective, however a release as soon as this week is not an unrealistic possibility.
@l0vetodream is very credible with a rating of 88.6%, whereas @jioriku is yet to be measured. Credible or not, Apple may decide to change plans last minute so do take the leaks/suggestions with a grain of salt. Any launch prior to its iPhone fall keynote will be via a press release on its website, meaning it could happen without prior notice.
