Apple partners with Gallaudet University to expand educational opportunities for students

Today Gallaudet University announced a joint partnership with Apple to expand the companies’ work with educational institutions in the United States and around the world. The new partnership will include Apple providing iPad Pro devices, Apple Pencils, and smart keyboard to students, per the press release:

Beginning this fall, Gallaudet University will provide all students and faculty with an iPad Pro, Apple Pencil, and SmartFolio for iPad Pro to support their learning and teaching. Students and teachers at the Laurent Clerc National Deaf Education Center, Gallaudet’s federal demonstration programs for students in grades K-12, will also participate in this new initiative.
