Today Facebook announced “Watch Together” on Facebook allowing you to enjoy Facebook Watch or Facebook’s collection of videos with friends and family over a Messenger video/room call. Think of if it like a 1-to-1 or group Facetime call but instead of only seeing each other, all members of the call will be watching the same video in real-time.

If you want to start a call, simply create a Messenger video or room calls, swipe up, and select “Watch Together”. Once in a call with friends and/or family, all participants will be able to browse through Facebook’s library of videos, chose one and enjoy. In celebration of the launch, Facebook is teaming pi with a fitness trainer and author Melissa Alcantra to create a series of fitness videos allowing people to workout virtual.

Watch Together is rolling out to iOS and Android users today as a free update.
