With the public launch of iOS and iPadOS 14 now upon us, DuckDuckGo has gotten updated to support being selected as a default web browser on iOS 14. On iOS 14 Apple is giving users the freedom to select default browser and email apps.

By choosing a default browser app, iOS and iPadOS 14 will no longer open URL links in Apple’s native Safari, but instead in whichever app of your choosing. To choose a default app, head into the Settings for a compatible browser app, and select it from the list. Currently at the time of writing Microfot Edge and Chrome support the feature.
