Greta Lee and Ruairi O’Connor join The Morning Show cast for Season 2

Apple has added Greta Lee and Ruaiar O’Connor to the cast of the 2nd season of its hit and Emmy-nominated show, The Morning Show, Deadline reports.

Great Lee who starred in the “Russian Doll” and “High Maintenance” will play Stella Bak, “a young, ambitious leader of an online media company that caters to a millennial and Ge Z audience.” Ruairi O’Connor who was in “The Spanish Princess” and “The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It” will play Ty Fitzgerald, a “charismatic and savvy YouTube star”.

Apple has also confirmed that Steve Carell, who originally signed a 1 year deal with the company for the 1st season of The Morning Show will return to the show.

The 2nd season of The Morning Show only recently went into production after being suspended in March due to COVID19. The 2nd season has been reworked to better include and describe the current global situation, and include a higher emphasis on the #MeToo movement.
