Jon Prosser: AirTags and AirPods Studio will not be announced at Apple’s Special October Event

AirTags and AirPods Studio pushed back rect

For those of you excited for October 13, 2020, we’ve got some terrible news for you. Apple has held off the release of a few Apple products.

According to Jon Prosser, the AirTags have been pushed back for a March 2021 release. And that’s not all of it. Also according to Prosser, AirPods Studio will have a second more inexpensive variation at $350 USD compared to $599 USD for the more expensive leather/metal version. But these also will not be shared with us at the October Apple Special Event.

But the good news is that Prosser is standing by all his leaks about the iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max. The iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro will be available for preorder on October 16 and will be for sale in stores on October 23. But once again, with every bad news comes some bad news. If you’re interested in the iPhone 12 Mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max, you will, unfortunately, have to wait until November.

All of these delays are probably due to COVID-19 shutting down factories and Apple’s ability to produce products.

We stand by Jern Prosser when he says “What. A. Mess.”
