Apple has announced that customers purchasing an iPhone 11 during the Indian Diwali festivity will also receive the 2nd gen. AirPods for free. The offer will begin on October 17th and is exclusively available using the newly launched online Apple Store in India.
As the Times of India notes, Apple has yet to disclose whether there are caveats or the fine prints of the deal. However, it is likely to be available only for a limited time, or until stock lasts. The 2nd gen. AirPods alone cost Rs 14,900, the base variant of the iPhone 11 sells at Rs 68,300. With the offer, customers are paying Rs 68,300, but are actually receiving products valued at Rs 83,200. If you aren’t looking to get some new AirPods, Amazon is offering the iPhone 11 at Rs 50,000.
