Hours before the biggest Apple event of the year, the Apple Store has gone down as it prepares for customers to pre-order and browse its new products.

Today Apple is expected to release its iPhone 12 series which will consist of the iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max. Alongside the typically expected spec boost, the new devices are rumored to include a flat-edged design, improved Face ID, cameras, and longer battery life.

Apple will also announce a cheaper and smaller HomePod mini to compete with other smart speakers such as Amazon Echo. It’s expected to come in a smaller form size, a lower price point, and possibly include updated Siri features which would also come to the existing HomePod model.

Wildcards for the event remain to be the launch of the AirPods Studio and AirTags, both of which leaker Jon Prosser is reporting will not happen. Non-device announcements may include more information on when macOS Big Sur, Apple One, and Apple Fitness+ will launch to the public. You can learn more about what else to expect here.
