Apple Store goes down ahead of “One more thing” Apple Event

Hours before Apple’s highly anticipated “One more thing” event where Apple Silicon Macs are set to be revealed, the Apple Store has gone down.

Apple’s expected to reveal updates to its complete Mac lineup, from new MacBook Air’s and MacBook Pro’s all equipped with Apple SIlicon. At WWDC in June Apple announced a major 2 year-long transition away from Intel and on its own custom silicon. Apple Silicon will be the headliner of the event, but there’s also the possibility of normal baseline Intel Macs getting a refresh.

Apple’s tagline for the event is “One more thing,” a phrase originally started by late-Apple CEO Steve Jobs and has only been used to indicate major, groundbreaking releases for Apple. Given Apple has already announced its transition to Apple Silicon 4 months ago, and its promise to have a Mac running on the chip out by the end of the year, speculation is running wild in regards to what will be this year “One more thing.” release.
