In August of this year, Netflix canceled the stand-up comedy, and news show “Patriot Act” starring Hasan Minhaj. The show was one of the most popular shows for the platform and ran for 2 years, with a total of 39 episodes. The cancelation of the show didn’t settle with many of Hasan’s fans, but luckily Hasan is making his way to another streaming service.

Deadline reports that Hasan will join the cast of The Morning Show, one of the most popular originals series on Apple TV+ for its 2nd season. According to the report, Hasan “will play Eric, a charismatic, a rising star who joins The Morning Show team.”

Apple is in the works of producing the 2nd season of “The Morning Show,” this comes after the first season racked up multiple Emmy nominations, and Emmy wins for the still young streaming service. Due to COVID19 however, Apple has only recently restarted production on the show and a premiere date is posied for the 2nd half of 2021.
