On Friday, November 20th, 2020, Apple and the three major cellular carriers in South Korea started shipping the new iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max. With the smallest and largest iPhones of 2020 now shipping in South Korea, it completes the iPhone 12 lineup in that market.

With the latest generation of iPhones also supporting 5G, a first for Apple, it will likely cause a huge boost of 5G smartphone sales within the country. Through September of this year, approximately 5 million 5G mobile phones were sold and that number will likely double by the end of the year with the new iPhones.
